Important Note

  • Hotel Selection Responsibility: KrishTrip offers a variety of accommodation options to cater to diverse preferences. Clients are encouraged to actively participate in the hotel selection process, considering factors such as budget, location, facilities, and standards. Utilize the provided tools, including website links and TripAdvisor ratings, to make informed decisions. KrishTrip neither endorses nor insists on any particular hotel choice. If the chosen hotel does not meet your requirements, KrishTrip holds no responsibility, as the selection is entirely at the discretion of the client. We value your input and aim to deliver a tailored travel experience based on your unique preferences.
  • Extra Bed: An extra bed will be provided for guests aged 6 years and above, if you have purchased one. Generally, the hotel provides only one extra bed per room, more than 1 extra bed in one room is subject to the room size.
  • Check-in/Check-out: The hotel standard check-in time is typically at 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am. Early check-in or late checkout is subject to the hotel’s discretion.
  • Voucher Payment: Please ensure timely payment as per the date specified on each voucher to avoid automatic withdrawal of services for the following day. Your cooperation in this matter is appreciated.
  • AC Usage: The use of AC during uphill drives and specific times is at the driver’s discretion.
  • Transportation: Transportation is as per the itinerary, not at the guest’s disposal.
  • Refunds for Non-operational Activities: Refunds for any paid non-operational activity will be processed within 30 days. Complimentary activities will not be refunded.
  • Hotel Room Facilities: Hotel rooms generally do not have air-conditioners due to the cool climate. Air-conditioned rooms can be booked with additional costs.
  • Heating Facilities: Room heaters are provided on a request basis and may have limited availability during peak winters.
  • Houseboat Stay: Accommodations in houseboats come with certain limitations, including lack of transportation to the houseboat, limited food menu, and intermittent power and water supply.
  • Restrictions in Gulmarg: In Gulmarg, the horseman union prohibits vehicles from dropping or picking up guests at/from the gondola.
  • Local Sightseeing in Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg and other places: Due to restrictions by the local transport union, guests have to hire local union taxi for local sightseeing with extra cost. Their vehicle may not meet KrishTrip’s usual standards.
  • Time Limit for Sightseeing: Guests have an hour each to enjoy Aru Valley, Betab Valley, and Chandanwadi in Pahalgam. Additional time requires payment to the driver/taxi union. Please get details from them beforehand.
  • Winter Road Closure: During winter, the road to Sonmarg remains closed, and vehicles can only go up to Gagangir.
  • Sonmarg Sightseeing: KrishTrip’s vehicle will take guests to the Sonmarg taxi stand, and guests need to hire a pony/local union cab for sightseeing.
  • Ban on New Construction: Due to a ban on new construction in certain areas, some hotels may appear dilapidated but provide excellent facilities and hospitality.
  • Road Closure Precaution: KrishTrip’s vehicle may not be allowed to ply during snow and slippery road conditions. Hire snow jeeps/chained vehicles are recommended on extra cost.
  • Special Dinners: The package price excludes special dinners or mandatory charges levied by hotels during New Year, Christmas, or special occasions.
  • Cancellation Due to Calamity: In case of package cancellation due to natural calamity, KrishTrip strives to provide the maximum refund, subject to agreements with trade partners/vendors.
  • Itinerary Modifications: KrishTrip reserves the right to modify the itinerary due to Force Majeure events, weather conditions, etc. Any additional costs due to such events will be borne by the guest.
